The organising committee and sponsors would like to thank all athletes who will be participating in this year's edition of CLICO's T&T International Marathon. RULES OF THE RACE, as outlined below, are intended to ensure that the event is conducted in accordance with the rules of the local National Athletic Amateur Association (NAAA) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). Participants are requested to READ THEM CAREFULLY, and ensure that on race day they comply with them in order to avoid disqualification or embarrassment. A copy is also distributed to participants with their race kit. Athletes wanting to query results may do this by registering their complaints with Race Officials at the finish line. Other queries may be made at any time to the Chief Course Referee, Committee Chairman or Race Director.
MARATHON INFORMATION  CHECKLIST

Time 3:30 a.m. - Walkers & physically challenged
5:30 a.m. - Marathoners and Chip & Sip
Starting Point:  Mid-Centre Mall, Chaguanas, at 3:30 a.m./5:30 a.m. sharp. The check-in desk opens at 3 a.m. It is expected the access roads to the starting line (Southern Main Road from Montrose and Chase Village), will be closed to vehicular traffic from 5 a.m.
Water Stops Twenty-three (23) stops, starting at 3 miles; bottled, purified water will be served. replacement fluids will also be served.
Markers Every mile
Toilets Start / 5 miles / 10 miles / 16 miles / Finish.
Medical Fully-equipped ambulances;
Sub-stations at 10 miles / 16 miles; Major medical tents at finish.
Clocks Lead vehicle /half-marathon /finish.
Entry Fee
Caribbean Participants TT $30.00
Non-Caribbean entrants US $30.00 (Entitles entrant to one souvenir T-shirt, transport to start line and pre-race course tour). All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please note before you register that...

  • Marathon applicants must be 16 years or older
  • Applicants for the Age Group Categories must furnish proof of age upon registration.
  • Applicants over 35 years of age are advised to consult a doctor before attempting to train for or run the race. The T&T Marathon Committee reserves the right to demand a medical certificate from any applicant.
  • All Entry Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Persons starting race at 3:30am are not eligible for Age group prizes
